Pakistan is well known for wild boar hunters. 75% of the country’s population is living in rural areas and agriculture is a major source of their livelihood. There has been a remarkable increase in Wild Boar population due to easy access to rich plants and lack of pest management. The government of Pakistan has declared it as a national pest as it is responsible for destroying 30% of crops. As government and farmers are unable to control boar population, hunters are considered as heroes to control this species. The government of Pakistan has announced incentives to encourage local hunters including no hunting fees, no restriction on the season. The best time for white Boar Hunting is between October and March.
